Invest Sign 2.20 Service Pack 1

Introduction

Invest Sign is very effective financial and risk analysis software which is going to be the leader in project management and decision support. Invest Sign allows companies to formulate their projects, analyse them with finance and risk analysis, run Monte Carlo simulations, perform sensitivity analyses, export financial reports such as investment costs, operational costs, financial means, financial sheets and other reports, solve optimization problems, and create decision support.

Informational

The update has been modified for the Invest Sign 2.20 release. Existing projects will be upgraded to the new update when opened in Invest Sign 2.20.

This is a general maintenance upgrade recommended for all users of Invest Sign 2.20.

New Features

Enhanced Production costs module

Added posibility to calculate Real estate tax and Real estate insurance, better posibility to describe Investment Costs and exclude costs, which are write-off to production costs.

Enhanced File Menu settings

When you open or save a project, the program goes to [Projects] subfolder by default. Save settings have been splited to Save...(when saving the existing project) and Save as... (when project is saved first time or you want to save file with other name).

Enhanced Help Library

The Windows Help Library has been in addition added with introduction chapter about Invest Sign - "An Overview to Invest Sign" which contains this information: "Introduction", "What is Invest Sign", "What is Risk".

New Project Analysis Capabilities

Expanded Sensitivity analysis making, extended Statistical analysis of Monte Carlo simulation. In Sensitivity analysis added four main variables to analyse, additional calculation of indexes in percent of NPV. Results and statistics of Monte Carlo analysis are showed in new style menus, posibility to export all data and statistics to other analysis.

Enhanced Project library

The project library allows to use project examples for desicion support. Added two project examples to better explain Monte Carlo analysis.

Enhanced financial reports

Invest Sign 2.20 now allows to export additionaly three financial reports: "Cash flow sheet (2)", "Calculation of inventory", "Calculation of amortization".

Bug Fixes

Temporary Folder Cleanup

Compact installer engine now cleans up all temporary files created during installation and uninstallation.

Previously, trying to choose an icon by selecting the Use alternate shortcut icon check box on the Application Shortcuts page crashed Invest Sign 2.20. This issue has been resolved.

An error message box without any text was displayed during a silent uninstallation if Invest Sign being uninstalled was currently running. The error message box now contains appropriate text.

Opening two .bat files at the same time crashes Invest Sign 2.20. This has been corrected.

An error message box without any text was displayed during a Monte Carlo simulation, when key variables were described incorrectly. The error message box now contains appropriate text.
