Informational

The update has been modified for the Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0 release. Existing projects will be upgraded to the new update when opened in Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0.

This is a Language and Help support upgrade recommended for all users of Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0. Added Russian and Lithuanian languages, ability to export Multilingual financial reports and other software upgrades.

New Features November, 2005

Enhanced Administrative Expenses module

Expanded Executive costs module with table 2.6 - B, now administrative expenses can be described more detailed.

Enhanced language settings

Added Russian and Lithuanian languages. You can freely change language to needed one. The language strings visualization have been corrected and now Invest Sign goes more functional with all three languages: English, Russian and Lithuanian.

Enhanced Help Library

The Windows Help Library has been reorganized from a referenced-based system to a task-based system help you to quickly find the best possible help to your problem. In addition, the information about Sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulation expanded. Help Library is available in English, Russian and Lithuanian languages.

New Project Actions

Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0 added two new product actions for describing projects that enable analysts or project managers better perform financial analysis. Added two new ratios and need of financial means recomendation in order to optimize yearly financial funds.

Enhanced Project library

The project library allows to see project examples for desicion support. Added two project examples to better explain Sensitivity and Scenario analysis.

Enhanced financial reports

Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0 now allows to export financial reports in all three languages: English, Russian and Lithuanian.

New Features April, 2005

Expanded Monte Carlo analysis

Invest Sign 1.24 - 2.0 added four new distributions, posibility to describe key variables with these distributions, ability to export graphs of them and statistical analysis. The new distributions are "Von Mises", "Weilbull", "Binomial" and "LogNormal" distributions.

Enhanced Help Library

The Windows Help Library has been in addition added with introduction about these distributions - "Von Mises distribution", "Weilbull distribution", "Binomial distribution" and "LogNormal distribution".

Bug Fixes

For a project, the error message box: 1785 was displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. This is now displayed in the center of the screen.

Invest Sign installations were previously not running with certain feature–operating system configurations. This has been corrected.

Registry entries made on Windows XP were not reversed during uninstallation of Invest Sign. This has been fixed.

If you clicked a hyperlink in the Invest Sign Help Library Risk analysis chapter and the link pointed to a "Risk methods" topic in the Invest Sign help, the correct topic now opens. Previously, nothing happened, or an error message was displayed.

When you tried to print multiple Help Library topics at a time, script error messages were displayed. This issue has been fixed. To print multiple topics in the Help Library, open the Contents tab. Then right-click the book that contains the topics that you want to print and select Print. The Print Topics dialog box opens, enabling you to specify what should be printed.

The DeleteFile function no longer throws an exception instead of failing when an attempt is made to delete a project file from a program on some systems. Previously in some rare cases, the DeleteFile function would throw an exception which could result the program crashing.

The problem with creating shortcuts in Windows CE during Invest Sign installation has now been resolved.

Various component dialogs work properly on Win9x, previously (9.0 and 9.01) when some component dialogs were used on Win9.x the component list view sometimes would not be displayed.
